The day of SYF! ~

today is the day, the day we all waited for so long. the day we all wanna gv everything tat we did for so long. jus to get at least a GOLD! but everything was nt in our hands, all we could do was to concentrate, & put all out feeling & passions into the music! the early morning arrived, and we were all super excited and nervous, after flag raising, go to band rm & prepared. all were ready, started to work a little on the pieces, then had a break time, ate, tried to do everything we could in playing. then, started to played alittle, and set off to SCH. we were so excited. bus-ed, reached, off the bus and waited awhile then went inside. went into the tunning rm, then played alittle here & there. then it was time to go into conference hall for the competition. heart beat start to race, but we stayed calm and relaxed. all we wanted was jus to gv out all tat we hv and enjoy ourselves. we went on the stage, and the person started to talk.... BAND NO. 126, playing overture no.2 and 2 symphonic movements we started to play, and all our concentration was on mr ng, out conducter. time flies, and then, we walked off the stage, with a very nervous feeling. but we noe we did our best and tats all we wanted to do. went bak to sch, waited for the results, meanwhile everyone was actually in a very excited and happy mood duno y... hahaha, took alot alot of photos hahaha. later then post, after tat, had break time, and were bak at 5 pm. where we were all tense up to receive the result... every minute seems to be a year. so long so long. we wonder why, but soon, mr ng and ms lu's bak. ms lu was crying... and mr ng had a face which seems nt lyk a gd mood... we were worried as we noe either is was gd if nt then it'll be very bad... then mr ng sat down and started to talk someting lyk tis bahx... "Band, u noe today all of u played well, and enjoyed urselves, no matter wad's the result, its all of u tried ur best... Band, you've got...... A GOLD!" all of us jumped up with joy, scream lyk crazy, people came along to congrats us. we jus cant stop the enjoyment. we were so happy so happy. hahaha, these 2 yrs, all of our hard work paid off! this is my one & only SYF, the forst and the last. and we gt a GOLD bak for the band, alumni, teachers, conductor, duman band and everyone! :D hahaha, even till now, i cant believe it hahaha! i am so happy! we cried so much, yet it was tears of joy! btw, heard tat there was a judge tat put his thumb up after we played! hahahas. thanks to all our seniors and each and everyone of us in the section! GENEVIE QURAISHAH ALVIN ELLEN YAN LING KIDMAN WAI KIT WENDI ESTHER ME! :D haha i am odd right. only sec 3 haha. but i had so much fun, even though it was my 1st time! :D hahaha though, heard tat we hv a chance to get a better result, but its ok! :D i noe we are good! :D hahaha ok, shall blog others later or tmr bahx. hahah :D byebye, i love the band! :D |
